МОНГОЛЫН ТҮҮХИЙН СУДАЛГААНЫ ЭХ СУРВАЛЖ НЬ ГЭРЭЛ ЗУРАГ
Монголын Гэрэл Зурагчдын Нэгдсэн Холбооноос Монгол Улсад гэрэл зургийн алба байгуулагдсаны 90 жилийн ойд зориулан “Гурван цагийн өнгө төрх” /1845-1935-2025/ гэрэл зургийн үзэсгэлэн Чингис хаан Үндэсний музейн нэг давхрын тусгай үзүүллэгийн танхимд (2025.10.09) дэлгэгдлдээ.
Энэхүү үзэсгэлэнгээр монголын гэрэл зургийн хөгжлийн онцлох гурван цаг үеийн бүтээлүүдээс сонгон бүлэглэж, анхны гэрэл зурагчид болох М.Гомбожав, Н.Чойжинням, Ц.Дагдандорж тэргүүтэй 10 гаруй уран бүтээлчдийн бүтээлүүдийг гаргаснаараа онцлог байв.
Мөн энэ өдөр “Монголын гэрэл зургийн үүсэл хөгжил-90 жил” олон улсын эрдэм шинжилгээний хурлыг хамтатган зохион байгуулж итгэлүүд тавьж хэлэлцүүлэг өрнүүллээ.
Уг эрдэм шинжилгээний хуралд Чингис хаан Үндэсний музейн захирал, академич С.Чулуун оролцож “Гэрэл зураг монголын түүхийг судлах эх сурвалж болох нь” илтгэлдээ “Монголын түүхийн судалгаанд нэгэн эх сурвалж нь түүхэн гэрэл зургууд болж тэр нь орчин үеийн түүхтэй шууд уялддаг. Монголчуудын тухай дэлхийн улс оронд буй гэрэл зургууд нь Монголын түүхийг судлах чухал эх сурвалж болдог. Монголчуудын тухай хуучин гэрэл зургийг эрж хайх, судалгааны эргэлтэд оруулах, ном бүтээл гаргах ажлыг цогцоор нь явуулахад Монголын гэрэл зурагчид мэргэжлийн түүхчдийн хамтын ажиллагаа чухал байна.
Тиймээс гэрэл зургийг түүхийн эх сурвалж болгох, зургийн түүхийг судлах цогц судалгааг эхлүүлэх нь зөв гэдгийг онцлов. Мөн Монголын түүхийг судлах “Түүхэн гэрэл зураг”-ийн бие даасан судалгаа бий болгож чадварлаг мэргэжилтнүүд томоохон хэмжээний сан хөмрөг, цахим мэдээллийн сан буюу цахим тээгчийн бүртгэл үүсгэх бүрэн боломж буйг тодотгов.

PHOTOGRAPHY AS A SOURCE FOR THE STUDY OF MONGOLIAN HISTORY
In honor of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the photography service in Mongolia, the Mongolian Photographers’ Association is presenting a photo exhibition titled “The Colors of Three Eras” /1845-1935-2025/. The exhibition will be displayed in the special exhibition hall on the first floor of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum. (2025.10.09).
This exhibition was distinguished by selecting and grouping works from three prominent periods in the development of Mongolian photography, and presenting the works of more than 10 artists, including the first photographers, M. Gombozhav, N. Choijinnyam, and Ts. Dagdandorj.
On the same day, the international academic conference “90 Years of Mongolian Photography: Origins and Development” was also held, featuring presentations and discussions on the history and progress of Mongolian photography.
At the academic conference, Academician S. Chuluun, Director of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, delivered a presentation titled “Photography as a Source for the Study of Mongolian History.” In his speech, he emphasized that historical photographs serve as important primary sources in the study of Mongolia’s history, closely connected to modern historical research. He noted that photographs of Mongolians preserved in various countries around the world are valuable materials for understanding Mongolia’s past. The cooperation of Mongolian photographers and professional historians is important in carrying out the comprehensive work of searching for old photographs of Mongolians, putting them into research circulation, and publishing books.
Therefore, he emphasized the importance of initiating comprehensive research aimed at establishing photography as a historical source and studying the history of photographic documentation. There is a full opportunity for skilled experts to create an independent study of "Historical Photography" to study the history of Mongolia, and to create a large-scale archive, an electronic database, or an electronic media registry.
