Музей нь хүн төрөлхтний хөгжлийн оюуны болон эдийн соёлыг хадгалж, хамгаалж, түгээн дэлгэрүүлдэг соён гэгээрүүлж, мэдлэг боловсролыг тэтгэдэг соёлын үнэ цэнтэй орон зай юм. Музейн сан хөмрөгт хадгалагдаж буй үзмэр цуглуулга, эд өлгийн дурсгал нь түүхийн бодит гэрч болж үеэс үед уламжилдгаараа онцлогтой.
Монголын Үндэсний музей нь монгол нутагт хүн анх үүссэн нэн эртний үеэс өнөөг хүртэлх түүхийн бүхий л цаг үеийг хамрах биет болон биет бус өв дурсгалууд археологийн олдвор, түүх, угсаатны зүйн холбогдолтой үзмэр цуглуулга, баримт бичиг, гэрэл зураг, урлагийн бүтээл зэрэг 60 000 гаруй үзмэр цуглуулга хадгалагдаж байна. Бид үзмэр цуглуулгаа шинжлэх ухаан судалгааны эргэлтэд оруулан, ном, каталог, эрдэм шинжилгээний цуврал сэтгүүл эрхлэн хэвлүүлж, сэдэвчилсэн тусгай үзэсгэлэнг дэглэн үндэсний болон дэлхийн хэмжээнд түгээн дэлгэрүүлж, сурталчилсаар ирсэн билээ.
Энэ удаа монголчуудын хувцас, гоёл чимэглэлийн түүхэн хөгжил, хувьсал, өөрчлөлтийг харуулах зорилгоор Монголын Үндэсний музейн сан хөмрөгт хадгалагдаж буй гоёл чимэглэл, хувцас, эд өлгийн холбогдолтой 100 гаруй үзмэрийн зүйлийг дээжлэн, дагалдах судалгааны бичвэр, хураангуй тайлбар, гар зураг, гэрэл зургийн хамт та бүхэнд толилуулж байна.
Тухайлбал, чулуун зэвсгийн үед хамаарах тэмээн хяруулын өндөгний хальсаар хийсэн “Зүүлт”, Монголын эзэнт гүрний үеийн монгол хатны богтаг малгайн “Алтан цог” чимэглэл, XIX-XX зууны эхэн үеийн язгууртны дээл, хувцас зэрэг монгол түмний гайхамшигт өв, соёлын илэрхийлэл үнэт үзмэрүүдийг үзэгч та бүхний гэгээн мэлмийг мялаахаар дэглээд байна.
Тус үзэсгэлэн 2025.12.12-2026.02.02-ны өдрүүдэд музейн 1 дүгээр давхрын үзэсгэлэнгийн танхимд олон нийтэд нээлттэй ажиллана. Та бүхэн тавтай морилоорой.

Special Exhibition: "Traditional Mongolian Clothing and Ornament"
Duration: December 12, 2025 – February 2, 2026
A museum is a culturally valuable space that preserves, protects, and disseminates the intellectual and material heritage of human development, enlightening and supporting knowledge and education. The exhibits, collections, and material cultural relics preserved in museum holdings are distinctive in their role as authentic witnesses of history, passed down through generations.
The National Museum of Mongolia houses over 60,000 artifacts, including tangible and intangible heritage from the earliest periods of human presence in Mongolian territory to the present day—archaeological finds, historical and ethnographic collections, documents, photographs, and artworks. We have continuously brought our collections into scientific research circulation, publishing books, catalogs, and scholarly journals, while organizing thematic special exhibitions to promote and share them nationally and internationally.
This time, with the aim of showcasing the historical development, evolution, and transformation of Mongolian clothing and ornament, we present to you over 100 selected artifacts related to ornament, clothing, and material culture from the National Museum of Mongolia's holdings, accompanied by research texts, summaries, hand illustrations, and photographs.
Specifically, we have prepared for your enlightened viewing such precious exhibits as: a "Züült" pendant made from ostrich eggshell dating to the Stone Age; the "Altan tsog" golden ornament from a Mongol queen's bogtag headdress of the Mongol Empire period; and nobility deel and garments from the early 19th–20th centuries—magnificent expressions of the Mongol people's heritage and culture.
This exhibition will be open to the public from December 12, 2025, to February 2, 2026, in the exhibition hall on the 1st floor of the museum.
