Artist, Baladandorj is one of the pioneer's of modern art in Mongolia and one of the first 7 founders of Union of Mongolia's Artist's, after graduating from College of Fine Art's in Ulaanbaatar in 1953 and he pursued his studies overseas at the Institute of Industrial Art's in Czechoslovakia and graduated in 1972. He was one of the founding father's of modern art movement show which was exhibited in 1962, and having been critisized at that time. During his long carreer he was awarded several times with the State Award, Honoured Labour Medal, Leading Cultural Award, Pole Star, etc,. from the Government of Mongolia.
