GANBOLD Lamjav

Ganbold is one of the most established painters in Mongolia, who concentrates on expressionist landscape paintings. With bright colors he reflects on the vast and beautfil Mongolian nature. Born in 1955 in Mongolia, he studied at the Re- pin Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia. Since 1994, he teaches at the School of Fine Arts of the Mongolian University of Arts and Culture in Ulaanbaa- tar. Since 1977 numerous exhibitions and prizes in Mongolia and abroad among others at the National Art Gallery of Fine Art, UMA Art Gallery in Ulaanbaatar, Germany, Russia, China, Korea, Holland, Turkey, in Tokio & Tsukuba Japan, at Dou- blet Gallery in Avranches, France; New York & San Francisco in USA.
