Otgonbayar Ershuu was born in 1981 at the city of Ulaanbaatar he works and lives in Berlin, Germany. He studied Mongol painting and tanka paintings at the Fine Arts University of Mongolia. Mongolian National Art Gallery presents "Otgoo Retrospective" which encompasses major works of the artists last 20 years. Otgoo explores the unique cultural identity and characteristics of being a Mongolian artist. Otgoo's works contain elements of Mongolian miniature paintings, infused with legends, folk art, decoration patterns, and traditional landscaping. The juxtaposition of these disparate aspects clearly reflect the nature of being Mongolian. The show is open for all public until 16th of November at the third floor exhibition space of the Mongolian National Art Gallery.
