Red Hero presents project methodology with German born Berlin based artist Michael Beutler. During his trip to Mongolia Michael will speak about his work of the last 15 years and about his project methodology.
German artist, Michael Beutler who consistently works with the architectural and social dimensions of the exhibition space. Working with various materials such as wood, plywood, corrugated cardboard, paper and often being realised by machine like devices that artist fabricates accordingly. His works oscillate between these dichotomies that collapse ancient and modernist forms, thus consistently turning ones preconceived notions of sculpture inside out. Beutler openly shared insights about his projects for the last 15 years, and showed in depth documentation of each work and detailed description of process and was followed by questions from the audience.
