The works of 12 artists of electronic music and fine art were exhibited at “Spirit of Gobi” in Gobi near Tsugaan Suvarga, Ulziit soum-Dundgovi province on 5-8th, August 2020. The second part of the festival, the Spirit of Gobi Consilience, featuring more than 20 works by 17 artists showcased in exhibition hall of the gallery in Ulaanbaatar. It was the very first year of the festival and we are planning to expand its scale each year and bring together new artists from the arts and music fields, attracting young artists, promoting their work to the public. The festival will be held in 2 sessions (I, II) similar to this year and the goals for each session are as follows: I. At this time, without nature, there is no concept of culture, not even humanity. In this way, nature is the basis for the emergence and evolution of culture. Thus, the main goals of Part I are to translate Mongolian culture and human-nature relations into fine arts and music, and to create works in nature through contemporary art. II. The main goal of session II is to discover how traditional concepts, nomadic culture, and nature are reflected in the work of artists, showcase the video contents, documentary photographs on how artists work in nature, and to promote urban culture. Creating a work in nature, especially in the Gobi, not only clarifies the nature of the artist’s existence, but also brings him closer to understanding and feeling his inner awakening. Continuing to create the work in the gallery’s exhibition hall with that feeling is a conjunction of spiritual sense.
