GANBAT Purvee
Born in 1976
Ganbat Purevee, born in 1976, received his formal education from Green Horse School of Art and Anima School of Art and Design in 1996, studied at the National University of Arts and Culture from 1994 to 1997, followed by study at Humboldt University of Berlin from 1999 to 2001. His creative prowess has earned him critical acclaim, with solo exhibitions like Just Like That (2007), Ritual of Fortune (2009) at the Mongolian Art Gallery, and Eyes Inside the Ear (2022) at the B Contemporary Art Gallery. He has also showcased his work internationally, participating in eventssuch as the 18th Asian Art Exhibition Bangladesh Biennale (2018) and the Nord Art 2019 and 2022 international exhibitions in Germany. In addition to his artistic pursuits, he is also the founder of the B Contemporary Art Gallery and was recently elected as the President of the Union of Mongolian Artists in 2022.
