MUNKHJARGAL Jargalsaikhan
/b.1985/
Munkhjargal Jargalsaikhan (b. 1985, Mongolia) received a degree in Mongol Zurag Painting from the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture (2008). In his artwork he explores the harmony and the contradiction between humans and nature and its consequences. He presents the substance of truth, changes brought by humanity and social inequality. His creations are borne of fairy tales, conceptions of history, religious imagery and the current environment.
Jargalsaikhan’s work has been well recognised in Asia and Europe. He contributed to Beyond heaven and Earth, China Art museum, Shanghai (2018), Land Art Mongolia Biennial, Mongolian National Modern Art gallery (2018) and Nord Art, International Contemporary Art Exhibition, Germany (2016). He also has created solo shows, including Bee Migration, Red Ger Art Gallery of Art Council of Mongolia (2018) and won Best Art Work, Art Gallery of Union of Mongolian Artists (2018).
