THE BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY OF MONGOLIA 2022
Exhibition press release

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Union of Mongolian Artists, the union housed 17 peoples artists and over 700 member artists. It is one of the oldest visual art institutions in Mongolia.
The "Beautiful Country of Mongolia" exhibition has become an official and integral part of the State Naadam Festival program, showcasing the best works of our member artists and is expected by domestic and foreign audiences annually.
This exhibition reflects on the rich history, beautiful nature, meaningful symbols, and respected customs of our beautiful country and thus incorporates unique artistic expressions for the audiences to digest.
Ninety-five works have been selected for this year's edition from over two hundred works, including fifteen sculptural works, ten graphic works, ten Mongol Zurag paintings, eight art & craft work, and forty-nine fine art paintings.

The Ministry of Culture of Mongolia is the leading supporter of this exhibition, promoting it to the broader audience of Naadam festival-goers to show the current artistic trends of Mongolian visual arts, its national identity, and the skills of Mongolian artists.
