Annual Photography competition, NEW OUVRE / PEOPLE 9 presents a photography exhibition of one of the most important Mongolian photographers of today. Exhibition offers photographic practice that is both personal and engaged with the social, political and economic realities that traverse contemporary society. Most of the works provoke various subjects such as working class that has been overlooked and left behind, and by dealing with issues such as deindustrialization, environmental justice, unequal access to care or racial discrimination, it also emphasises people, places and issues that often remain unseen until 10 December at the School of Media and Television of the National Fine Arts University.
