“TEMPLE OF REMEMBRANCE” EXHIBITION
The Luby-Jenkins Student Exchange Program, implemented in partnership with the Arts Council of Mongolia (ACM) and the Zorig Foundation, is in its 16th year of preparing future leaders through the development of Mongolian-American cultural and educational exchanges. The program organizes a series of year-round training on leadership, democracy, teamwork, and arts education to help high school students become democratic and humane citizens. As a result of the training, students initiate and implement community-oriented micro-projects, one of which is the Modu project.
The “Modu” project aims to spread Mongolian history knowledge to children and youth and to introduce the value of history. In this context, the exhibition “TEMPLE OF REMEMBRANCE” by artist G. Gerelkhuu will be presented at the ACM’s RED GER CREATIVE SPACE on May 3-11, 2022.
The artworks of this exhibition are intended to enrich the inner world of the individuals with the depiction of memories and to express what is happening in the world. Artist G. Gerelkhuu’s Mongolian painting techniques have evolved its color and created a new direction in modern fine arts, including comic art style.
The ‘Modu’ project will bring awareness of history and cultural importance to children and young people through this exhibition.
We welcome you to visit the “TEMPLE OF REMEMBRANCE” exhibition at the ACM's RED GER CREATIVE SPACE on the working days of May 3-11, 2022, from 10:00 am to 6:00 am.
